Columbus Avenue School students and their families were decked out in pajamas for the school's first Annual Snuggle Up and Read Night.
During the event, students and families visited three classrooms, while teachers read stories that reflected the holiday and winter season.
At the end of the day, each student received two books and a bag of cookies to take home. The district's ROTC students joined to help direct families and translate when needed.
