The J.W. Dodd Middle School hosted an informative Parent University that focused on digital citizenship. Led by Dave Gordon, several Dodd teachers worked together and developed an interactive presentation where participants were able to answer questions using their cell phones.
They used the program Kahoot Educational Software, a model of student activities in the classrooms. The discussion also included cyber safety and the perils of social media, as well as an assessment of the participants own knowledge of social media.
