Freeport High School's Foreign Language Club celebrated Foreign Language Week from March 7 to March 13. This year's theme was "Open your mind to Language."
Due to the pandemic, the usual tradition of decorating the classroom doors in the high school's foreign language wing was not possible. To keep the enthusiasm and tradition alive, Foreign Language Club President Issiz Herrera Manchame and Vice President Alessandro Benitex Pineda put in their time and talents to create a display highlighting
the week's theme to share with students and teachers passing through the hallways.
The purpose of Foreign Language Week is to raise awareness of the need for and importance of foreign language study.
