The district received a generous donation of 21 Chromebooks from Patrick Franzone of the Freeport Police Benevolent Association and Toys for Freeport Tots.
The Chromebooks were distributed to students in grades 1-4 from Archer Street, New Visions, Bayview Avenue and Leo F. Giblyn elementary schools. Each Chromebook was safely passed to students and their families through a window at the Freeport High School.
This donation will support students' continued distance learning.
