Bayview Avenue students had a magical time learning about magnets during a special interactive lesson from the Cradle of Aviation Museum. As a culminating activity to a lesson about magnetism and learning how electrons work, the museum worked with students using small dot magnets, plastic cars and glue to teach the students the behaviors of magnets when manipulated in different ways.
At the end of the lesson, students were challenged with having a magnetic car race, complete with tracks to push or pull their cars on.
