Dodd Inducts 85 to National Junior Honor Society

J.W. Dodd Middle School's National Junior Honor Society inducted 85 eighth-grade students as new members to the prestigious organization for the 2020-2021 school year.

Advisor Ms. Genesis Martinez applauded the students for their non-stop work and efforts throughout the past 18 months as they went above and beyond to complete the requirements necessary to become members of the organization. To qualify for induction the students were required to maintain an 85% average, complete an application including an essay, complete ten hours of community service and obtain two letters of recommendation.

Following, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Kishore Kuncham spoke to the inductees and commended them for their commitment to academic success during an unprecedented time and reminded them that their efforts are important to their future endeavors.
