Vaccines Available on 7/15 for students aged 12 and over

Dear Freeport Families,

On Thursday, July 15th, Freeport Public Schools is partnering with Mount Sinai South Nassau to administer the COVID-19 vaccine to individuals from ages 12 and up within the Freeport Community.

The first dose of the Pfizer vaccine will be offered at Freeport High School from 3:00pm to 6:00 pm on Thursday, July 15th via Mount Sinai's South Nassau Vaxmobile. The vaccines will be administered at the parking lot entrance of Freeport High School (weather permitting). If it should rain, the vaccines will be administered at the far right (front) entrance of Freeport High School. This vaccine is available to individuals 12 years old and up. Students who are 12 years of age to 17 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Please read the information below carefully regarding your appointment:

  • Please bring proof of eligibility to your appointment (identification showing date of birth)
  • Please wear masks and short sleeves

Also, if any family members 18 years and up are interested in receiving the Johnson and Johnson vaccine, they may walk up to the Vaxmobile between 3pm and 6pm without registering.
