COVID-19 Vaccines Available on August 24th at Freeport High School for those 12 years old and up

Dear Freeport Families,

On Tuesday, August 24th, Freeport Public Schools is partnering with Mount Sinai - South Nassau to administer the COVID-19 vaccine to individuals within the Freeport Community. Students who are 12 years of age and up may be vaccinated.

The first dose of the Pfizer vaccine will be offered at Freeport High School in the cafeteria on August 24th from 10am to 4pm.. This vaccine is available to individuals 12 years old and up. Students who are 12 years of age to 17 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Please read the information below carefully regarding your appointment:

  • Masks are required to enter the building

  • Please wear short sleeves

  • Individuals who had any other vaccinations within 14 days will not be vaccinated
