Students in the Bayview Avenue and Leo F. Giblyn elementary schools showed their concern for others by participating in a holiday food drive.
Bayview students and families generously donated more than 1,100 cans of food to Island Harvest to be shared with families in time for the Thanksgiving holiday. The school's theme for their food drive was "Generosity is one of the many strengths of the Bayview family."
During their annual Thanksgiving Food Drive, students and families at Leo F. Giblyn Elementary School generously donated 1,885 food items which were donated to Freeport Outreach.
