The emergency closing of school or other extraordinary information is announced over local broadcast media and through a recorded message you may hear on the Board of Education's telephone switchboard. You can hear this message by calling 867-5200. Emergency Closing of School If severe weather and dangerous traveling condition make it advisable to close school. you will be notified by announcements from 6:30 am- 8:00 am on the radio and television stations listed:
