The stakeholders of the Freeport Public Schools are building a vision. Since mid-March, 111 of us have participated in a dialogue about the ideals we share for the future of our schools. Parents, teachers, administrators, support staff and community members have come together to discuss our values, our beliefs about learning and our dreams for our children.
Yet this is just the beginning. Our vision statement will be the
umbrella for a community-wide strategic planning effort set to
begin in September. This important process will outline the specific
steps we will take to ensure that all Freeport students achieve
high academic standards. We want input from as many members of
the community as it is possible to gather. We want to know what
you envision for Freeport schools. We want you to be involved in
helping all Freeport children and adult learners achieve success. |
